MOLLEminus Chest Rig – an ultralight, flexible, MOLLE compatible chest rig minus the weight, minus the bulk.

The MOLLEminus Chest Rig combines the MOLLEminus technology – laser cut slots to create a MOLLE grid and ULTRAcomp – a battle proven high performance laminate to create the world’s lightest chest rig. At half the thickness of a dime, the main ULTRAcomp panel is flame resistant, stays dry and light, with a durability that meets or exceeds 1000d CORDURA® fabric. The MOLLEminus is the revolutionary technology of using laser cut slots to create a fully MOLLE compatible platform. This drastically reduces the weight and complexity of traditional webbing grids on top of nylon and greatly increases the precision without the worry of undersized or misewn MOLLE loops.

The MOLLEminus Chest Rig features the updated slot-grid for more mounting options of pouches and accessories with the equivalent capacity of 12 MOLLE columns wide and 6 rows tall. The removable shoulder harness is designed to be comfortable, low-profile, and free breathing, constructed with mesh backed ULTRAcomp laminate that is fully MOLLE compatible and provides a routing channel for cables and hydrations tubes. The straps can be adjusted for different body sizes and use with or without armor or outer garments and is considered a ‘one size fits most.’

The first MOLLEminus™ Chest Rig was launched in 2012 – called the RACKminus – after the inspiration of the RACK (Ranger Assault Carrying Kit) and became the first web-less MOLLE chest Rig utilizing MOLLEminus and ULTRAcomp®. Just as the original RACK changed the way for modular chest rigs, MOLLEminus changed the way the next generation of chest rigs were designed and constructed though some elements of the issued RACK were carried over – like the side release buckels on the top furthering the modularity of the kit. There are two front male side-release buckles placed at 7.5″ on center to allow quick clip compatibility with certain Velocity Systems, Mayflower R&C, or Crye Precision armor carriers. This also allows a DIY retrofitting solution to nearly any MOLLE compatible armor carrier using two female repair buckles and two tee mounts (not included).
